Where can I get a copy of the factory W&B data for my 1952 170B? I want to re-baseline the W&B of the plane I just bought (once new radios are installed) and cannot find the original numbers anywhere in the paperwork/boxes of stuff they sent with the plane.

Some times the W&B from the factory is part of the records the FAA has on file. You can go on line at the FAA site and order a CD of all the records the FAA has which I highly recommend every owner do regardless.

Short of the original W&B sheet sometimes careful review of the log book can reveal some W&B info as many times it is part of the work log entry.

But the truth is that unless your airplane has been stored in a barn somewhere untouched for the last 50 years, it's time to reweigh it and reestablish an accurate equipment list with the W&B.

I would schedule and do this with the radio work.
