Indiana Fly-In

Post by N4064V »

As the new Indiana State Rep I would like a "show of hands" to see if there would be enough interest in having a fly-in on Sat June 7th at the Lee Bottom Airfield in Southeast Indiana. I was thinking along the lines of flying in on Saturday having a cookout in the afternoon with optional camping overnight and tieing into Lee Bottoms 'Sinful Sunday' Ice Cream Social. If the weather is good they normally have about 60 planes attend on Sunday. You could attend either day or both. They have a block restroom and shower stall. If anyone wanted to stay at a motel I'm sure we could shuttle from the airport. Please feel free to add any suggestions.
Thanks!

Count me in!
I can probably scare up a few more friends, tailwheel drivers but not 170s (C-140, RV6, etc)
