Hey guys I need some questions answered, ASAP. if you have either engine and a fixed pitch prop what are the recommended procedure for deactivating the prop control? I know some have just saftey wired the control lever but anything else? do you install the hubbard plug and/or remove the plunger assm? if not, what are the checks to be sure the plunger is not leaking, time schedule(besides oil dripping from the prop)
? any experienced mechanics can contribute what they have done in years past. Trying to get the approval for the "B" installation in the 170 series. keep it simple! Ron
