Control lock question

I just made up the rudder gust lock as George Horn suggested. It works like a charm and took only about 15 minutes to prepare, after I made the neoprene "saddle" that goes over the tail light.

My question is: what sort of elevator gust lock works with this set-up? With the rudder lock in place, the elevators can't be tied back with the seat belts because they will rub on the rudder tiedown ropes. I secure the ailerons with a bungee between the two wheels, but I haven't figure what, if anything, to do about the elevators.

What are you doing?

Bob, I pull my yokes back with the seat belt, and I THEN put my rudder gust lock in place, with the ends hooked into the open-ends of the horiz stab leading edges. The rudder-lock rope passes BENEATH the stab and elevators.
