Probably everyone but me

knew this, but what ever you do, don't let any contact cleaner get on any of the avionics except possibly the contacts themselves

I have learned a very expensive lesson from having accidently done so

Anybody out there run across a used ICOM AC-200 for sale, I am in the market for one

Frank could you please give us the picture, did the fluid ruin your display?

YIKES! I just shot some on my intercom plug. I was about to squirt some in the volume and squelch holes for no particular reason, but then I read the ingredients and saw that it has mineral oil in it.
I hope you have had good luck with your Icom. I used to fly a buddys Pitts and I could never get the volume up, and then it would only last about 5 hours in between visits to the shop. I guess it didn't like the G's, or maybe the vibration, or possibly the NOISE!

I often use the stuff on contacts, but blow out the excess with air, I've yet to have a problem and that's why I'm prying Frank, mistakes are made all the time and its great when we all learn from them.
