In the wing of my 48, it has crosswires and they are a 10-28 lock nut. I'm told these are unusual and I need to find 4 which are nylock type. Any info where or how to find these would be appreciated. I am told Wag Aero has the wires but not the lock nuts
Thanks for the info.

The ragwing IPC (figure 3) shows each wire having 2 nuts: one p/n 0422211-2 and one p/n AN365-836. I presume one is an adjusting nut,and one is a lock-nut. Does the tail-end of the AN part number indicate an 8-36 size and pitch?

The "dash" number following the AN365 (which indicates an elastic stop nut) is indeed the thread size and pitch. -1032 is a #10 size (3/16") with 32 threads per inch.
This won't be the first time a "typo" has been noted in these parts catalogs. I don't believe there is any such animal as an AN365-836 nut. It probably is an AN365-832 nut. That can be confirmed with any AN nut with 832 threads by trying it "on for size" on the drag wire.
Wing Wire Nuts

The outer wing wires (0422008-4) use two AN365-832 jamb nuts.
The wires are upsized to 1/4 under an STC (sae0422008-4). Univair automatically sends you the upgraded wires. Problem is no nuts.....
The inner wing wires (0422008-5,-6) are 1/4 wire and use a 0422211-2 elastic stop nut.
These took me a few months to find.
They are a yellow chromate cad plated 1010 elastic stop nut.
They were manufactured by ESNA
The ESNA part number is F22NM-128
I found a supply at FREUNDLICH Supply Co., Inc.

Freundlich is set up to invoce companies, not pilots.
