The International Cessna^® 170 Association

This is definitely not a new subject based upon my looking back at the forum. However, I now need to find out more since my 1951 C170A (S# 198620 has started to develope a crack in the very aft tip of the tail wheel bracket. It appears that it may have already been replaced once since the parts manual for the A model shows a box style and my airplane has a finger style like the B model. The crack has been stop drilled and has not grown any since then but is compromised and I feel it should be replaced as soon as I can gather the information and parts.

I have tried a search for the SK70A52-4 mentioned in past forum questions and cannot find any information. Also, I cannot find any of the part numbers shown in the parts manual for this bracket.

If anybody can inform me of the whole story to replace this part, I will be most appreciative.
