Towbar Adapters

George, some time ago I think it was you that located a source for the L-19 tow bar "adapters" that can be installed on our aircraft that will allow the plane to be towed from the main gear. I have a set, but don't remember where I got them or what they cost. While at a AAA Flyin yesterday I met a new C-170 member who just purchased a '54 model 170. He mentioned that he was thinking of making some towbar adapters and I suggested he let me get him the data on where he might purchase the ones some of us have. Do you still have that data available (I know you do and probably at your keystroke tips---much closer than me digging through piles of receipts to locate mine
---& no, I couldn't locate the data via the "search" feature)? Thanks!
And OH, BTW, yes, Uncle Sam's post office does require postage to be placed on envelopes these days
Sorry for the delay in sending you the item. Remember the good ole days (at least in rural west TX) when if you forgot to put a stamp on a letter or didn't put a sufficient amount on one and the mail carrier would place the correct amount on the letter, so as not to delay its being sent on time, and leave you a note showing how much you owed him/her? I am sure that courtesy came from his/her own pocket and he/she knew you were good for the $$.
