Transponder repair

Post by Mike Smith »

My transponder (Bendix/King KT76A) knob for the first digit broke off Friday and I need to send it off for repair. Does anyone have a recommendation for an avionics repair shop. It doesn't have to be close (I live near Sacramento) since I'll be mailing it anyway. For all I care, it could be on the east coast. I'd just like to send it to a shop with a good reputation.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike - talk to Joe Mitchell, Aerial Avionics, Stockton airport. Joe has done good work for me.

There's also an avionics shop at Sacramento Exec. airport and at Lincoln.
