Need Zeftronics regulator paperwork

Post by Dave Clark »

I'm looking for someone who has a field approval on a Zeftronics regulator on a 170. FAA says I can get a field approval still if I have someone elses to submit. And because it's a simple thing not needing engineering, etc. There is no STC on it for the 170. Thanks

The Zeftronics regulators G1250N and G1350N have FAA-PMA approval for use in the 170, 170A, and 170B and only require a log book entry. No 337 is required according to Zeftronics Dwg No. Z00PEC Rev. F1. Zeftronics number is 903-758-6661

Sorry, I should have noted that it's the older version part#R15100 or #R15V00. These do not have an STC approval for the 170.

The regulator that I just installed (Zeftronics model R15100) had the STC paper work included with the regulator. If anyone needs to trouble shoot a regulator or alternator problem their site http://www.zeftronics.com has some excellent step by step help.
