Humor Number 44: An Oldie but Goodie.

Post by GAHorn »

For those not familiar with the Humor numbering system, here's No. 44:

Santa was boarding his sleigh one Christmas eve, when an official looking
guy in a dark suit came up and climbed aboard beside him.
Santa asked who he was and the guy said, "I'm from the FAA
and I'm here to give you a flight-check."

"OK", replied Santa as he picked up the reins and gave them a shake,
"but we need to get on our way ...so we won't be late!"

Just then the FAA examiner pulled out a telescopic, high-powered rifle
and Santa asked, "What the heck are you doing with THAT?"

"On this next take-off you're gonna lose one."

George,
You're mistaken. That was not joke no. 44, it was no. 43. I remember because I was in Basic Flying School at Merced, CA, that 1943 Christmas.

Captain's TakeOff Briefing to Co-pilot:

"I'll make all the takeoffs and landings, I'll shoot the guns and fire the missiles.
You do everything else."

I heard these are the only things a copilot should ever say:

Nice landing, Sir.
I'll buy the first round.
I'll take the fat chick.
