I need a new heater cable--anyone have a part number--1955 170B. Thanks. LBB

From the IPC (which you should own) it is PN 0411090-11 for serials 25373 thru 26038, and PN 0411090-5 for serial number 26039 and on.
But this is common bowden cable available from Aircraft spruce 877/477-7843 and Univair 888/433-5433. I suggest a "ratchet" control type for cabin heat, cabin air, mixture, etc., because it will stay exactly where you place it, oblivious to vibration. This would be the "A-740" model which comes with either black or red knob (paintable tho'.) Specify length (which can easily be shortened in the field) from either 60 or 72 inches.
