Is there such a thing as a preferred tailwheel tire for the Scott 3200?
Did Goodyear ever mfg a tire for C 170? Are there OFF BRAND tires to avoid?
I Googled 2.80/2.50 x 4 and got a mixed bag thus my inquiry from the membership

The Specialty tire is a McCreary product and is the one I"ve used for 12 years. First one lasted 8 of those. Second one is still on the aircraft after 4 years.

Due to some very rough terrain and not enough air pressure ,I chewed out a couple of expensive tires and tubes , but one day I found in a hardware store some real nice tires . 6ply and only $8 dollars each . Tubes were about 5dollars. Getting the correct tires is very hard where I live . I have tried to add up the number of landings I have done on this Chinese tire it must over 300landings in all sorts of situations. No problems yet
