Rubber horizontal boot adhesive

Post by skypilot195 »

Anyone have ideas on the best rubber horizontal boot adhesive? Some adhere great but aren't very workable and some are workable but don't hold up over time. 3M's 90 super spray adhesive handles great but doesn't hold up ....old school Pliobond works but hard to work with.
Any suggestions appreciated! :D

Accessory Kit AK182-217J calls for using 3M's 1300L and then using "a coat of GACO N700A sealer or equivalent (conforming to specification MIL-C-21067) along the trailing edge of the boot to the surface of the skin to form a neat straight fillet."

3M's 1300 L seems to be the product of choice and used on deicer boots as well... :D
