STC Data

Post by 170C »

Someone on our forum mentioned that to find out who the owner of an STC is and how to contact them that we should contact the Aircraft Certification Office in our area. Can someone guide me where withing the ACO website would be appropriate to ask for the information?

pokey, you should go on the faa webste look up the stc. find the issuing office for the stc then contact that office branch. STC Holders are required to notify the issuing office when things change. Good Luck, Doug

Frank,

Here is a screen shot of the FAA site where you can find and look at STCs. This one is for our Associations STC.

It gives the owner and the address. At the bottom it gives the the ACO responsible. When you don't get a response from the owner, contact the ACO and see what they know. After all they are working for you.
