New Seats!!
So, I took Greg (bigrenna) 's advice can called Ron Matta at Aviation Creations about a new interior, starting with a set of articulating seats I had.
I'm really glad I made that call cuz they really came out nice! Can't wait to get the rest of the interior done to match!

Re: New Seats!!
So far, this is all we've gotten done.
I wanted the seats for the trip to Sun-n-Fun this year but weather might blow that trip
I plan to get the side panels done in April. Still on the fence about what to do with the back seat. We remove the seat back to fit bicycles back there pretty frequently and I'd hate to tear up the leather that way.

Go with the Atlee Dodge seats. I thought they were expensive until I bought a pair and installed them. They are really nicely engineered.

Re: New Seats!!
Ron wouldn't stop talking about the Cessna logo and insisted I get it
He told me he wasn't too keen on the idea when you insisted and sent him the stencil but after he saw it, he thought it was 'badass'. I must agree, it really makes the seats look good. That and it matches the logo on the front of my cowling too.
I need to call Atlee Dodge about a motor mount soon. I should ask him for a multi-purchase discount if I get the seats at the same time.

Beautiful!! Some of you guys have airplanes with nicer seats than most luxury cars! If you get a chance, post a picture of everything installed. Would love to see the finished product!

What was the total cost?

Re: New Seats!!
Total cost for the two front seats was $2,800 to include refinishing the seat frames, new bladders, new foam, perforated leather on the center, new head rests (not shown) and the embroidery.
Not terrible, given how nice they are done.
I don't have a price for the side panels yet and still haven't made up my mind about the back seat. Considering someone sits back there once or twice a year, I'm hesitant to spend much money on it.

Good point.
These seats came in pretty high cuz I opted for all the bells and whistles.
I figured I could save money in places other than my butt and lower back.

Sorry this is late, but I had to search everywhere to find the picture. I found a solution to the issue about your bikes so you can get your rear seat done to match, David.
