My tailwheel has the 3214T arm with the upturned ends. Which dust caps do I use, standard or heavy duty?

Mine have the upturned arms as well. My dust caps were heavy duty.

Thanks. Every year the tailwheel gets a birthday present of a new part. This year it's dust caps, bearing axle spacer, and grease retainer.

Check out the axle bearing seals that Alaskan Bushwheel uses. They are more like grease seals should be vs the original felt washer things.

I bought a set of the axle bearing seals a few years ago, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how to get them in. They're too big for the bore on the wheel.

Maybe that is why the part number for the seals is missing in the parts listing at Spruce and Airframes Alaska!

This discussion motivated me to try again. I found the new seals in my box of tailwheel parts and used the necessary force to get them into in place. David, you're right, they're better than the felt seals.
