C-170A Engine Baffles

Post by DMACJR »

I know I saw a post/article (with color pictures) on this site somewhere either in the forum section or in one of the news letters about someone having had made thier own brand new set of engine baffles, for a C-170A model, the old style, with the what I will call a plenum box on top of teh engine (3 separate pieces) from flat stock, anyone have any idea where I may find that post/article and/or who posted it??? Thanks in advance, Dave M

I had a new set of engine baffles made by Airforms in Alaska for the 170A. They used my old baffles as templates and digitized the data. They now have the 170A added to their product list.

Yes I saw that on the web.....I'm specifically looking for the front bracket that supports the center front top portion of the plenum to the crankcase Someone along teh way made a very bad repair to the existing bracket, but they show only selling the whole center piece of the plenum.....still looking...thanks for the reply
