Javelin Aux. fuel tank

Post by Mr. 284 »

Hi everyone. I'm new to the association, however I have owned my "54 " 170 (2576C) for 22 years and it has been a great plane. I am currently giving it a major face lift by doing the Avcon conversion with new interior. I am nearing completion and can't wait to fly it again. I have used it for years as a ranch plane checking cattle, using it's off runway capabilities to the fullest and can't wait for the extra performance the 180hp should give it. I was wondering, however, if any of you can help me. I am looking for the Javelin drawings for the installation of the fuel tank. ( #782-1, 787 ) I have all the paper work except those drawings. I have checked the 170 library and couldn't find it in there either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all...
PS. If any of you need anything as far as paper work for the Avcon conversion, just let me know and I would be happy to
share what I have..

Scott, welcome to the Cessna 170 association! Where ya been all these past years :?: As you can see by the first reply to your question, this association's members have a wealth of information that will be helpful to you. We need some updates on how your makeover and engine conversion are going from time to time and photos would be nice. Good luck with the project, etc.
