Parts for Carb swap

Post by bagarre »

Does anyone have quick list of the gaskets needed to replace the Marvel carb on our O-300s?

I can't find a diagram that lists the part numbers needed but I can think of two gaskets and at least one o-ring for the finger screen.
While the carb is off, is there anything else worth replacing real quick? I dont want to open up or overhaul the thing but are there any special lock washers or bug-nuts that I should order at the same time?

Thanks

Not sure how much you want to replace but these are available from Spruce.

I was hoping for the top and bottom gasket part numbers and minimal things like that.

David,

The top gasket (carb to engine) is p/n 21051
The bottom gasket (carb to air box) is p/n 21323
(See p. 22-23 of the 0-300 IPC (x30014))

Both are available from Aircraft Spruce: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/e ... ckkey=4194
