New Firewall
Hello everybody,
Is there any known source for a new stainless steel firewall? We need one for a 170b from 1954 which we are restoring here in Germany.
Thank you

Re: New Firewall
Delair in Porterville, California is another option. This link shows a picture of the firewall they made for me.

Re: New Firewall
Cessna told us, we could order the firewall but Cessna can't tell us when it will be delivered and how much it will cost - not very tempting!

Re: New Firewall
Kyle Fosso's new firewall that he constructed is fabulous. Maybe he'd assist in creating another?

Re: New Firewall
I'm guessing without a form one or a 8130, this gentleman is in trouble.
There's a -3 firewall available, not sure what the difference is between a -1. might be worth checking into the difference with Cessna. Note Cessna was making new ones 10 years ago, so ordering one might not be that expensive compared to the alternatives.

Re: New Firewall
Miles' post, " '98C's Road to Recovery" states Del Lehmann just installed a new stainless steel firewall. Miles or Del should be able to say where they got it.
