C-170A Mechanical Fuel Qty Gauge Refurbishment

I read somewhere recently, even saw a pix of the refurbished unit and I cannot recollect where, of someone that had an original Scott Fuel Qty gauge refurbished, anyone on here have any knowledge of who that was or more importantly, who did the actual work??
