Century 1 Autopilot
Does anyone know an avionics shop or individual that can troubleshoot/repair a Century 1 autopilot? My '52 170B has a single axis (wing leveler) autopilot that will engage and fly the heading for about a minute then starts a right turn that will go to full aileron deflection if I don't disconnect. It's old, installed in 1991--I can't find anyone that will work on it. ANY IDEAS? I've already been told to junk it but there must be somebody out there that can fix it. THANKS, EC
