Generator coupling parts.

Anyone know where replacement parts for the generator coupling might be available?

Aircraft Spruce, Aircraft Specialties Services are two.

BTW the part number for the drive coupling bushings in Continental parts manual for the C-145/0-300, X130014 is 626543. I can't find that part but it seems the number is now 632050.

Thanks I'll try that. And Aircraft Spruce is a good source for that?

Spruce is $15, Aircraft Specialties $6. Unclear if Spruce is selling you two for that price. You need two.

Thanks! It has been awhile since I have been into that assembly. Do you recall if those bushings are the only rubber parts?

There is also an o-ring, and an oil seal.

Yes I see that and the last time I was into that part I remember having a hard time finding those as the continental manual part number on at least one of them is apparently wrong or no longer available. So if you have a source for those or the correct part numbers I'll add it to my upcoming order.

Thanks

Spruce has all the parts you need. I just replaced my generator and drive parts in July.
I used Continental Aircraft Engine Parts Catalog - Form X30014, Change 2, Aug 2011, page 32 for my parts breakdown.

Thanks John, any chance you could take a picture of that page and either text it to me or email it to me?

Computers and web sites can be a wonderful thing. Search Aircraft Spruce and generator and your likely to come to the page John mentioned.

You guys are great! I found that diagram and it shows the seal but no o-ring.

Stephen,
Check out AK172-6A in the Maintenance Library. You will find in fig. 1 that the o-ring is p/n AN123864. It's also shown in the TCM Illustrated Parts Catalog on fig. 18. This o-ring has been superseded to AS3570-111.

Thanks Gary. It seems a lot of the old numbers in the IPC and TCM manuals are outdated and have been superceded with new ones. Is their a cross-reference available for the new and old numbers? How did you determine the new number? If I knew that I wouldn't have to ask so many questions of the members.
