How may one Force oil up dry bowden cable

Post by MoonlightVFR »

I would like to force lubricating oil into dry bowden cable.

e.g. starter pull cable - force oil backwards from engine compartment and be able to see

"proof" inside at control panel. I want to see just a hint of lube behind the knob.

Surely there has been an established past procedure for small single engine aircraft.

Would appreciation learning what other forum members have done.

A motorcycle cable lube tool - http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/48 ... able-luber Works great to lube all kinds of cables.
Enjoy!
