Venturi Help

Post by doakes »

Dear Memebers:

I need to install a new venturi as my old one will not drive the newer instruments.
I made a purchase from Wag Aero and the "foot print" is not the same as the old venturi.
I really do not like the idea of drilling new holes and filling the old.
Is there a larger venturi that will fit the old holes?

thanks in advance,
Dave

Dave,

Can you give the dimensions of your attach screw holes, center to center. Both forward and aft as well as verticlly. Then reference the fitting hole to one of those dimensions. I have several venturi's that might possibly be a help but must know the dimensions.

Opps! Forgot to ask What and how many instruments are you trying to drive, and what are their volume and pressure requirements. Brian.

Venturi Help

Post by doakes »

The foot pad measurements are 1.5 inches x 2.0 inches.
The venturi needs to be greater than a 4 inch preferably a 8-10 inch.
I am driving a Horiz and a Direction Gyro.

Any help is appreciated.

It would be helpful to know which part number you ordered. Sounds like you ordered too small a venturi.

Venturi Help

Post by doakes »

I ordered from Wag Aero part Number A016000 an 8 inch venturi that is suspose to turn Direction, horiz and T&B. I really need only to do two of the three.
But the "foot print is different than what I took off. I really do not want to drill new holes. My girl has enough holes now!
Thanks
Dave
