I have Robert Schoerrs Padded Glare shield. C170 B 1954.
A/P needs access to run wire for lighted Hanging Compass. Issue is clearance between windscreen and end of glare shield.
I need tool advise.
I see two (2) Phillips screws holding the padded glare shield to top of original glare shield.
My question to the forum is how to remove screws?. There must be some special screw driver.
Not enough room for your hand holding a screw driver.

A stubby Phillips fits mine with room to spare.
