So, I'm installing a new to me O300 in my '48 170. I rounded up all the fuel pump parts thanks to some much needed pictures provided by a 170 member.
The "new" motor didn't come with the exhaust system including the "headers" that bolts to the cylinder head. I had my exhaust system gone through by AWI and the motor is hung just needing these parts now, if anyone knows where I can acquire these.
Thanks!

You can get them from AWI just to name one place.

Bruce, Thanks for the reply! They show for the 170 A/B and 172 I assume it applies to the straight 170. AWI already made a mistake on my motor mount so, I have lost a little confidence in them.
Thanks
Thanks

Those “headers” are called “risers”.
(Even good guys sometimes make mistakes.) What error occurred with your mounts?

Yeah, they made it right after a few emails. But, long short of it was they rebuilt my mount to a later model 170/172 therefore wider. Thanks for correcting me I knew they had another name, I just couldn’t place it.
