Source for glare shield light bulbs?

Post by jrenwick »

Hi all,

My 170B (N4401B) has a glare shield that I have reason to believe is the Schroers installation (it looks like the one pictured here: http://www.omen.com/f/n2469r.html). It has light bulbs almost exactly the same size and shape as the AGC fuses in the fuse panel, but with pointed end caps and a reflective coating over half their circumference. They're marked "ROYAL 12V 0.15A". Does anyone know where to buy bulbs like this?

Thanks!

I got them from Mr. Schroers. He use to be an Assoc. member. If you don't find him listed I will try to find his # for you I have it some where.

Thanks, Tim! Robert Schroers is in the phone book. I spoke with him today, and he said he sells a package of 6 bulbs for $27.00 postage paid, if I'd send him a check. His address as given in the STC list at the back of the C170 book is still correct:***
Best Regards,

John
