Hello everyone,
I am posting a question for a friend here who has a 170B. He wants to know the metal thickness of the cowl fairings so that he can have a sheetmetal guy fabricate new fairings for him. I am currently down in Miami in training for the next few months so I am unable to measure my cowlings on my ragwing. Would anyone know off the top of their head or be able to measure a cowling on your airplane to determine the metal thickness? I appreciate your help and time.

On my '52 C-170B the NOS nosebowl and lower cowl skins are 0.025".
