Join EAA, and attend one of their SportAir Workshops, Electrical wiring workshops. You'll spend about $350 on a weekend, have a great time, meet good people, make new friends, learn a lot about aircraft electrical systems and wiring, and leave with all the knowlege you'll need to make your own harness on a Saturday. (The money spent will likely be less than a factory harness or paying the avionics shop to do it for you, and you'll still have all that valuable knowlege in your brain and that personal satisfaction in your heart.)
