Alton Bay Ice runway B18
As of 10 Feb the Alton Bay, New Hampshire, ice runway is open. Only the runway and ramp are open for now they are working on the taxiway. A recorded message is available on 603 875 3498 they are pretty good at keeping it updated. Alton Bay will have their annual Ice Festival on Sunday, 14 Feb.
Keep your speed up, Blackhawk on final behind you.

Alton Bay is open for the first time in several years and conditions were great yesterday. Check out the aircraft on the commemorative chip.

Yeah Bob! Glad you got to fly in there. I had it on my list and went up on Sunday 26 Jan. Great times and a perfect venue for the 170. We got in early that day as the winds were forecast to pick up in the afternoon. Our timing was good except the headwinds flying back to CT.
