Possible ragwing 170 gascolator gasket

Post by GAHorn »

It’s been reported to me that the C120/140 uses the same gascolator as the ragwing 170, and that the gasket made of cork for it is failure prone (no surprise there…most vulcanized cork gaskets don’t survive continuous submersion in gasoline).

The group also says that Spruce offers a nitrile (buna-n) replacement, Part# 05-11189 for $11.50: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/ ... -11189.php

Hope this helps.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
