Fuel flow on my 170B with 0300A engine

Post by Trapper »

If a person opens the fuel line at the filter, how long should it take to drain 1 Canadian gallon? Or what should the fuel flow be per minute? Maybe it would be better to take the fuel line off at the carb and check the fuel flow there. What are the members thoughts on this?

Fuel flow

Post by Trapper »

Thanks Gahorn, will check this week end and see if my fuel flow is up to scratch. I have been using auto fuel for so long thought I should check and see if my fuel has not been restricked over time due to damage to hoses by menthal hydrate in auto gas. Up here in Norhtern Canada it is very hard if not impossible to get auto fuel without mental hydrate.
