We have C170B '55 equipped with Fluidyne (ex. Federal) hydralic skis (1964) and hydraulic pump manufactured by Adel Precision Products.
Now the pump lost its power and we would need to replace some gaskets, but unfortunately it seems quite impossible to find proper gaskets here in Finland
Does anyone have some data sheet or manual about the pump which had information and part numbers of those gaskets?
And can you point the suplier who would deliver those gaskets?
The pump has this kind of markings and numbers:
Adel Precision Products
CCRP California, USA
D-10229
55724 3
13280-H
Also we are interested to find operating and service manual for Fluidyne 3000/3200 Wheel Skis.
that pump is probably WWII-era military surplus, manufacted long before those skis. You probably won't find any literature on it. Any good hydraulic shop should be able to rebuild it with generic seals, most certainly everything will be inch (not metric) sized.
but since that pump is probably not what was originally supplied with those skis maybe you could just replace it with something similar?
Wipline (http://www.wipaire.com/) bought the rights to all the Federal / Fluidyne skis and has whatever literature there is on those skis.
Thanks for the tips. Finally we managed to find standard o-ring (Viton) which could be used as replacement for those three original gaskets and now the pump seems to work just fine
I'll contact Wipaire and ask those FluiDyne ski documentation.
