I agree and should have been more specific: I had the bird over at the A&Ps hangar (he also happens to be a FedEx DC-10 Capt and owns a pristine '54 C-195 and two Beech 18s he is restoring ... very mehtodical and conscientious) and while doing the BAS tail pull and the F&M oil filter mod, did the other work mentioned. Good points though; one interesting thing: as a personal opinion, he will have nothing to do with the auto fuel (EAA) STC I bought ... he is opposed to the use of auto fuel! (I don't intend to use it that often but, I legally want to be able to do so) Sorry for not being clearer in the post!

He also just had a surprise 50th birthday party... we had about dozen or so planes into Jim Bob's just this last weekend. Interesting what a small world it is.

Please try to keep on-going message threads in their original topic/threads whenever possible, as the software does not allow merging of threads, and split threads become dis-jointed. (This new topic "Comment" at first seemed to make no sense unless one were to realize it was actually part of another conversation already in progress.)

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
