carb heat box

We're going the Avglas STC route and found an IA two hangar rows away.
He's a little more expensive but seems thorough so far.

Chris Richards advice may prove to be helpfull if you have not called F atlee you should. as i happen to know he has a 170 carb box for sale. Give them a ring. 33alfa

Well, we are squared away now. Apparently when the mechanic got deeper into the problem our old carb heat box was not in the best shape. It appeared to have been repaired more than once with some damage occuring along the way.
We put a new box on from Spruce and threw a new control/cable in too.
Now it works like a charm and should be trouble free for a while. It should get us to Galveston, at least!! :P
