Front seat P/N's

Post by sphillips »

My "B" model S/N is 26642. The parts book shows different P/N's for the left and right front seats. Can't find the P/N on the seat. How do you tell the difference?

Seat latches are both on the left side on my 53. Left and right seat backs were covered differently originally on many if not all models of 170. (note illustration in the IPC) I think mine will fit and work properly on either side. It's been so long since they've been in the plane I don't remember for sure.

26505 is where the P/N for the back assembly and cover assembly also changed for left and right. I know the bottom line of the top section of the upholstery is different left and right on some models. I would bet that is why the different P/N on the complete seat assembly.
