I ripped out the old carpet during the annual and I've looked at the Airtex interiors, but I've found a company (Hangar Bay) that has a better price but only makes caprte for '56-62 Cessna 172's. Anybody know if they'd fit my '50 170A with light to no modification? There's about $100 difference in airtex's price and if I have to modify the carpet, it's not worth it to me.
Any other places out there that make carpets for our planes?

My carpet came from the A-model Ford restorers group. (Original horsehair short, cut-pile type carpet.) Airtex received the material and cut it for my 170-B and serged it.
Theoretically the '56 172 should use the same carpet pattern. (Depends on how accurate the maker's patterns are.)
