I have another question. This time on tire pressures.
I have 8.00 x 6 tires on 8018A.
Being new to tail-wheel and oversized tires, how does one
decide what pressures to use in the tires??

That is a good question. The owners manual doesn't list the tire pressure for anything other than the 600x6 tire. I've not found one anyway.
I use 25 lbs. which has worked for me on my 8:00x6s. More might be OK but I've just found they bounce on landing more. Less could work as well in fact I often have less in my tires as I only check them and fill them up when they look like they need it.
So said another way if my tires look like they need air I fill them to 25lbs. If they don't look like they need air I don't check them and they more than likely have less than 25lbs.
It's an exact science which has take me years to develop.

I use 8.00x6 tires, and I inflate them to 24psi, just as if they were 6.00s. Never thought to ask if the pressure should be different for those, but it seems to work fine.
The answer might have to do with the fact that if you did a random spot check of all the 170s in the world, you'd find pressures all over the map, and no one the wiser.
It probably doesn't matter as much as we worry about it!

How do you know they are low???
when she is hard to push up the slight incline leading into the hangar, I know it is time to check the pressure in the mains. It always amazes me how much difference a few PSI can make
