NEED FASTENER CLAMP -- BLAST TUBE ALTERNATOR

Post by MoonlightVFR »

I have misplaced a small part. Need help in locating a replacement.

I have C170B 0 300 with Cessna Service kit SK172-22F. Title is
GENERATOR TO 60 AMP ALTERNATOR CONVERSION.

The part I have misplaced is the Clamp that positions the Scat tube Blast air at rear of the Alternator. From the kit parts list and detailed drawings the P.N. is 0450036-1 and named CLAMP HALF. I need two clamp halves and bolt AN3-3A bolt, MS21044N3 Nut and 2 washerss AN936A10.

A Cessna dealer is supposed to be trying to help. Parts numbers are superceded so often I may not be served.

I don't think I have ever heard of this Kit on the 170 Forum. The eight pages of drawings/ P list that I retained are in good shape in case some one wants reference material.

gradyb,
Cessna has stock on the clamp, $44 list. I don't know if you'll get the clamp assembly (both halves) at that cost, or if you need to order two. The other items are generic hardware.
Preferred Airparts also has the clamps, 330-698-0280. You'll pay much less there, and they would also be likely to have the hardware if you need.
