scott tail wheel eye bolt

Post by CBogle »

Dear fellow members:

I have a 48 170 with a scott tail wheel. There is an eye bolt that connects the wheel assembly to the main leaf spring. The eye bolt serves a dual purpose...in addition to attaching the wheel assembly to the main spring, the eye is used to tie down the tail wheel with a rope.

My question is this. Does anyone know the size/dimensions of this eye bolt and also where to purchase one? I could not find any part number or reference for this bolt in the scott tail wheel diagram.

Thanks,

Curt that is an L-19 part.

I believe Air Repair is the popular vendor for this part. I'm sure George will chime in here with more or different info if I'm wrong.
