Lubricating Flap Rollers

Post by Robert Eilers »

What is the best method to lube flat rollers? From the looks of things, the previous owner used some sort of heavy grease.

Thanks

Light oil is the recommended lube. (LPS-2 or 3 in One is good stuff.) See the lubrication chart in the front of the Service Manual, 100 Series, 1962 and prior.

My choice on flap rollers

I use LPS 2 on the rollers, but I use my finger and lube the upper and lower tracks with general purpose grease.
