48 Pitot Tube

Post by N2520V »

Ragwing owners -

After a fruitless search for a replacement pitot tube for my 48 Ragwing :evil, I've decided to fabricate my own. I'm wondering if any of you fellow ragwing owners would mind giving me the Outside Diameter, Inside Diameter, and length of the tube measured from the leading edge. I'd be most appreciative.

Thanks in advance!

The Service Manual, 100 Series, 1962 and Prior has a template which gives the shape/length of the 1/4" aluminum pitot tube. I can copy/fax/mail it to you if no one else does.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
