Oil Leak
I had my sump and accessorie case off, put everything back together and now I have an oil leak, a very slow run seems to be coming from the seam between acc. case and crankcase right beside the oil presure relief valve....I is obviously a presure leak at the passage way......took the back case off.... the little copper gasket that is part of the back cover gasket doen't line up 100 %....Thought I would put it back to gether with a new gasket and permatex ......Anyone got any suggestions, ideas hints or clues......let me know.....Thanks

Re: Oil Leak
What "little copper gasket" are you talking about? The AN crush-gasket for the oil pressure relief? Simply replace it if it's been crushed, they are cheap.

Re: Oil Leak
I am not talking about the crush gasket at the reielf valve......there is a copper gasket that is manufactured into the Accessory case gasket...it is part of that large gasket.....This copper ring is where the oil passes thru from the accessory case to the crankcase.....

Re: Oil Leak
Patrick,
You seem to be indicating that the gasket you have between the accessory case and the case halves and sump has a copper ring incorperated into it.
I do not recall such a ring on the gaskets I used but it's been a while.
