Thanks Bruce,

To be honest I was not sure what else was required and planned to talk to my IA next week. Now I know and will get him to complete the process with a 337 and logbook entry.

Going up to see him is also another excuse to go flying so this will work out fine, :)

I recommend your IA complete a new 337 with wording such as : "Found Installed, O-300-B in accordance with STC Number, Int'l Cessna 170 Assn."
