170B Battery box

Thanks all for the feedback on my Interior question. 8)
Any leads on replacement battery box and lid other than the Factory new assembly at 800.00, This is for a 1952 170B

I have a good, servicable battery box with lid. The problem is it is in Texas and I will not be back down there until October. If you want to wait for it, make me an offer via PM.

Or, call Air Salvage Dallas at the Lancaster, Texas Airport. They will have one, probably out of a C-172 but the same part.
