Gentlemen,
could anybody confirm that the glass tube gascolator is no longer approved?
Heard that as a unconfirmed rumor. Engine is a Cont. O-300-C.
Also it is dripping a bit after pulling the strainer - any good place to get new gaskets?
(Unless the whole thing needs to be replaced if the glass tube thing turns out to be true)
Glass Tube Gascolator illegal ?

The glass gascolators are original... and STILL LEGAL. (How DO these goofy rumors begin?)
You can get the gascolator gaskets from Cessna, Part Number 33-199-6 . Contact Hill Aircraft at: 800-998-7832

I have always found the gaskets for the glass tube gascolator available at any NAPA parts store. Just take them an old gasket for a sample.
