My left elevator ('56 170b) had an unfortunate encounter with an FBO that has forgotten about conventional gear. Finding a new one or even a salvaged one is looking to be impossible, but Williams Airmotive in Indiana will rebuild this one. Any experiences?

Re: Elevator replacement
My IA has a stack of 337s that are an inch tall - and he says the work that came out of Williams is as good as any he's ever seen. I had a rudder and elevator re-skinned. Turn around time was good. Job was done on time and as scheduled. My FBO will use Roy Williams again.

Williams rebuilt my wings and elevators. Great work and nice people to deal with.

Re: Elevator replacement
I had both wings, ailerons, flaps, elevators and horizontal stab rebuilt by them. All I can say is good. They do what they say and the workmanship is excellent. A+. Sundby

Re: Elevator replacement
I can't say enough good about Paul and Roy.....Paul picked me up from the airport, let me help him make all the leading wing skins for my 195 wing ( about four hours) took me back to the airport and charged me, as I remember, a real reasonable price.
