fuel valve parts

hello i am working on a 1949 170a fuel valve someone put a solid shaft in place of a shaft with a ujoint in it. i think i need part number 0511157-8 called a shaft assembly. i was hoping someone may have a spare or know where to buy a new one. thank you rob loomis kalamazoo michigan 1949 170a 9174a

Loomis, your TIC170A membership just paid off! Give me a shipping address and I'll send a never-installed, brand-new shaft w/U-joints in regular mail in the morning! :wink:

Rob, I mailed the 0511157-10 (assy, fuel selector shaft). This assy includes the handle, upper and lower shafts, and U-joint, which should provide all you need to get your's operational.

A quick-check of the Cessna factory inventory shows they have NONE at all.



I can't imagine why. :wink:
